Netflix is bringing back one of its most surprising original films this week, with a sequel to McG’s The Babysitter.
The horror comedy from Brian Duffield (Jane Got a Gun) followed 12-year-old Cole, who fell in love with his babysitter only to discover that her cult wanted to kill him. Debuting in 2017, the film received a glowing review from us.
“This light, fun horror-comedy is McG’s best film in over a decade,” we wrote.
Now, The Babysitter: Killer Queen is upon us. Written by Dan Lagana, the sequel will see the original cast return, from Judah Lewis and Robbie Amell to Hana Mae Lee, Bella Thorne, Emily Alyn Lind, Andrew Bachelor, Ken Marino, Leslie Bibb, Carl McDowell and Chris Wylde.
Two years after defeating a satanic cult led by his babysitter Bee, Cole’s trying to forget his past and focus on surviving high school. But when old enemies unexpectedly return, Cole will once again have to outsmart the forces of evil.
