Love, Victor will return to Star on Disney+ this June for Season 2.
The spin-off from Love, Simon follows Victor Salazar, a teen from a half Puerto Rican, half Colombian-American family living in Atlanta. A new student at Creekwood High School, he has to adjust to a new city while also navigate his own journey of self-discovery, from challenges at home to his sexual orientation. When it all seems too much, he reaches out to Simon to help him navigate the ups and downs of high school.
The series stars Michael Cimino, Ana Ortiz, James Martinez, Isabella Ferreira, Mateo Fernandez, Rachel Naomi Hilson, Bebe Wood, George Sear, Anthony Turpel and Mason Gooding. The film’s original writers Isaac Aptaker and Elizabeth Berger serve as executive producers alongside Brian Tanen, Jason Ensler, Isaac Klausner, Marty Bowen, Adam Fishbach, Wyck Godfrey, Pouya Shahbazian and Adam Londy.
“This entertaining follow-up to Love, Simon promises complexity as well as charm,” we wrote in our review of Season 1, which premiered earlier this year, when the adult-friendly Star section launched on Disney’s subscription service.
Now, it’s back again for 10 more episodes, with the cast of the hit LGBTQ+ show announcing the return with a video message.
