Inside Edge, the first Amazon Indian original series, has landed on Heera.

The 10-episode series tells the high-drama story of the world of cricket, both on and off the field. The show features a star-studded cast that includes some of the best talent from Bollywood, including Vivek Oberoi, Richa Chadha, Angad Bedi, Sanjay Suri, Sarah-Jane Dias, Sayani Gupta, Tanuj Virwani, Siddhanth Chaturvedi and Amit Sial. Created by Karan Anshuman, the fictional series follows the ups and downs of a professional cricket team in Mumbai as they reveal the real drama behind the game. It’s a story of passion, courage and love.

While traditionally, Amazon original series have been released on Amazon Prime Video for subscribers, though, Inside Edge marks a new approach from the online giant: Inside Edge is released on Heera, a curated Bollywood subscription streaming service. The service, which costs £3.99 a month, is available as an add-on to an Amazon Prime membership through Amazon Channels, which launched in the UK last month.

In addition to Inside Edge, Heera provides access to movies, serials and kids content in Hindi, Telugu, Tamil, Marathi and Bengali. Some of the newest available titles include Badrinath Ki Dulhania, Hindi Medium, and stand-up specials from Kenny Sebastian and Azeem Banatwalla. A stand-up special from Zakir Khan is coming later this month.
