From Borgen to The Bridge: BBC Four box sets return to BBC iPlayer

BBC Four is bringing its big international TV hits back together again to mark its 20th anniversary, with a slew of box sets now streaming on BBC iPlayer.
In the 20 years since the channel launched on 2nd March 2002, alongside its commitment to specialist arts, performance, history, science, factual and music content, BBC Four has become one of the primary homes of international drama in the UK. To celebrate the two-decade milestone, then, a collection of more than 20 box sets of BBC Four dramas are now available to binge on BBC iPlayer.
The collection takes audiences all the way from Denmark to Italy, via Wales, France, Iceland, Norway and Canada. It includes Borgen – available on the BBC for the first time in nearly a decade – Cardinal, Missions, The Bridge, Spiral and, of course, The Killing.
Sue Deeks, Head of Programme Acquisition, BBC, says: “These box sets are just a selection of the many wonderful international drama series that BBC Four has been proud to introduce to the UK over the years. We hope that viewers will enjoy the opportunity to become reacquainted with old friends, and take pleasure in discovering new ones.”
