First full trailer for House of Cards Season 4

“You have no idea what it means to have nothing,” spits Kevin Spacey’s Frank Underwood in the new House of Cards trailer.
Yes, our first full trailer for Season 4 of House of Cards has finally arrived – and if you thought the teaser trailers released over the last month were stylish, you ain’t seen nothing yet. Harshly edited with a lightning strobe, it’s a torrent of snatches of conflict and power plays, which gives you a sense that things have gone bad, but without any spoilers.
Indeed, the fourth run of Netflix’s original political drama is being kept closely under wraps. The last time we caught up with Frank, he and wife Claire Underwood (Robin Wright) were doing very well politically, but struggling on the personal front. As the 2016 US election looms, the fourth run of Netflix’s original show will see Underwood campaigning for votes – presumably against Joel Kinnaman, who was recently announced as having joined the show’s cast.
All Netflix has confirmed is this one-sentence synopsis: “Frank and Claire continue their pursuit for power, battling everyone in their way, including each other.” The dialogue in the trailer, though, brings that to life vividly. “I saw a future,” says Claire. “We had a future,” retorts Frank.
All episodes of the show are released on Friday 4th March, with the show already set to return for a fifth season, without showrunner Beau Willimon.
