All 8 seasons of Entourage are now available to watch exclusively with Sky Box Sets on NOW and Sky On Demand.
The Emmy-winning bromance comedy series follows the ups and downs of A-list movie star, Vincent Chase (Adrian Grenier: The Devil Wears Prada, Drive Me Crazy) as he finds success in Tinseltown’s fast-paced film industry, propped up by a devoted brotherhood of childhood friends and family and eccentric agent Ari Gold, played by Golden Globe Award winner Jeremy Piven (Mr. Selfridge, Sin City: A Dame To Kill For, Old School). Entourage also stars Kevin Connolly (He’s Just Not That Into You) as Eric Murphy, Kevin Dillon (Poseidon) as Vince’s brother Johnny Drama, and Jerry Ferrara (Battleship) as Turtle.
Over its 8 seasons, the show explored stardom, money and friendship, racking no fewer than 26 Primetime Emmy award nominations, as well as winning a BAFTA for Best International Show.
Entourage’s writing team and producers include Doug Ellin (Creator and Executive Producer), Mark Wahlberg (Executive Producer; The Departed, The Fighter) and Stephen Levinson (Executive Producer; Prisoners, Boardwalk Empire). Now, the team prepare to make the leap to the big screen with an Entourage hitting cinemas on Friday 19th June.
In the run-up to the release, Sky has nabbed the exclusive subscription VOD rights, adding the entire series to its Box Sets available to customers through their Sky+HD box and Sky Go. For non-Sky customers, Entourage is available on subscription VOD service NOW, which gives access to all of Sky’s TV shows (both current series and past box sets) for £6.99 a month, no contract.
The deal marks the increasingly diverse availability of HBO’s shows online, depending on the studio producing them: while Game of Thrones and Entourage are on NOW, for example, Mad Men is available on Amazon Prime.
“Entourage is the kind of show that may have already ended, but we’re safe in the knowledge that these characters’ lives will continue on,” we wrote in our review of the programme, arguing it to be one of the greatest shows of all time. “You could pick it up at any moment and dive straight back in – all you need to know is that they’re still there. And they’re having a great time.” The show is also available to buy on pay-per-view services blinkbox, Wuaki.tv, Amazon Instant Video and Google Play.
