Curzon Home Cinema has launched a new fortnightly strand of curated films.
Called Curzon Curates, the VOD service will send its users collections of hand-picked flicks every other week for a fresh perspective on both classic and contemporary films.
“Curzon has been curating exceptional film experiences since 1934. Curzon Curates highlights the expert team’s programming vision and brings this directly to your home,” says a spokesperson for the site.
Every other Wednesday, two collections will introduce a mix of films – one for budding film enthusiasts and one for more seasoned cineastes.
The curated strands kick off this week with a special Cannes double-bill: one collection of previous Cannes award winners and one highlighting Cannes visionaries, celebrating the Palme d’Or and beyond.
Cannes Winners
Cannes 2016 is nearly over and one film will be awarded the Palme d’Or. To celebrate, Curzon Home Cinema has put together a selection of previous winners, from Iran to Italy, Thailand and more.
Visually dazzling, dramatic and sometimes wryly funny, the collection promises “world cinema that engages us emotionally”.
