Curzon Home Cinema is heading to the European Film Awards this weekend, with an exclusive live stream of the awards.
Now in their 29th year, the awards are presented by the European Film Academy and EFA Productions and celebrate the greatest achievements in European cinema.
The 2016 ceremony takes place on Saturday 10th December in Wroclaw, European Capital of Culture 2016. Can’t get to Poland in the next few hours? Curzon has you covered, with an exclusive live stream from the event to your living room (as long as your living room is in the UK or Ireland).
Curzon Home Cinema is also sponsoring this year’s EFA People’s Choice Award, which allows film fans across Europe to elect their favourite film and sheds light on the people that films are made for: the audience. Winners in the past have included films such as Pedro Almodovar’s Volver, Jean-Pierre Jeunet’s Amelie, Pawel Pawlikowski’s Ida and Danny Boyle’s Slumdog Millionaire. In 2015, the EFA People’s Choice Award went to Marshland by Alberto Rodriquez.
To celebrate the 29th EFAs, and the People’s Choice shortlist, Curzon has curated a European Film Awards Collection, which features a selection of nominated films from the 2016 ceremony, and highlights from the winners in 2015 and 2014.

As well as broadcasting footage from the red carpet and the ceremony, the Curzon team will also be tweeting from the red carpet and ceremony through @CurzonatHome.
Planning to tune in? The good news is that Curzon Home Cinema is on more platforms than ever before, including iOS devices, Google Play, Chromecast and Apple TV. It is also compatible with web browsers.
