Apple is heading to London for MCM Comic Con this week, where it will premiere See, it’s new Apple TV+ sci-fi series.
See takes place in the distant future, after a deadly virus decimated humankind. Those who survived emerged blind. Jason Momoa (Aquaman, “Game of Thrones”) stars as Baba Voss – the father of twins born centuries later with the mythic ability to see – who must protect his tribe against a powerful yet desperate queen who wants the twins destroyed. Alfre Woodard (The Lion King, “Luke Cage”, 12 Years a Slave) stars as Paris, Baba Voss’s spiritual leader.
The “See” screening will have an audio-description soundtrack for customers who are blind or partially sighted, with headphones available on request at the venue on a first-come, first-served basis. Meanwhile, the panel will be BSL interpreted, with seats near the interpreter held for audience members requiring this service.
MCM London fans will get an exclusive look at the upcoming drama on MCM Comic Con’s Main Stage at 3.30pm on Friday 25th October. The screening will be followed by a panel featuring stars Jason Momoa and Emmy and Golden Globe winner Alfre Woodard, alongside creator, writer and executive producer Steven Knight, and director and executive producer Francis Lawrence.
The series will be available UK stream on Apple TV+ from 1st November 2019. Apple TV+ will cost £4.99 a month. For more information on the streaming service and See, click here.
