300: Rise of an Empire is available to watch online in the UK today ahead of its DVD release.
The sequel to Zack Snyder’s eye-popping action thriller relocates the bloody, land-based combat to the sea, as Greek general Themistokles faces off against invading Persian forces.
The invading forces, ruled by the mortal-turned-god Xerxes, are led by Artemisia, the vengeful commander of the navy. Knowing his only hope of defeating the overwhelming Persian armada will be to unite all of Greece, Themistokles ultimately leads the charge that will change the course of the war.
The movie lands on DVD and Blu-ray on Monday 29th September, but – as is now common in the home entertainment market – is released today for digital download.
