We’ve sorted through All The TV to bring you your May 2025 UK TV highlights – what’s worth watching and where you can stream it online in the UK.

Week 1

 

Taskmaster: Season 19

Greg Davies and Alex Horne return for another round of hilariously silly tasks for comedians to complete. This season’s line-up of contestants includes Fatiha El-Ghorri, Jason Mantzoukas, Mathew Baynton, Rosie Ramsey and Stevie Martin.

The Handmaid’s Tale: Season 6

This dystopian drama based on Margaret Attwood’s novel is suffocating, chilling and harrowingly relevant.

Week 2

 

Star Wars: Tales of the Underworld

Enter the galaxy’s dangerous underworld in this 6-episode animated journey through the experiences of two iconic villains.

Poker Face: Season 2

Natasha Lyonne is swaggering back into detective territory for the second chapter of Rian Johnson’s crime drama, which follows Charlie Cale, who has an extraordinary ability to determine when someone is lying. She hits the road with her Plymouth Barracuda and with every stop encounters a new cast of characters and strange crimes she can’t help but solve. Episodes 1 to 3 arrive together, following by episodes weekly.

Long Way Home

Best friends Ewan McGregor and Charley Boorman gear up for their fourth Long Way adventure — this time, the 10-episode series sees them riding through 17 European countries on cranky old bikes. All episodes arrive together.

Rabbit Hole

Produced by CBS Studios and distributed by Paramount Global Content Distribution, Rabbit Hole follows Sutherland as John Weir, a master of deception in the world of corporate espionage, who is framed for murder by powerful forces who have the ability to influence and control populations. Alongside Sutherland, the gripping eight-part series features an impressive cast including Charles Dance, Meta Golding, Enid Graham, Jason Butler Harner, Walt Kink and Rob Yang.

Elsbeth: Season 2

Elsbeth stars Carrie Preston as Elsbeth Tascioni, the astute but unconventional consent decree attorney who utilises her unique point of view by working with the NYPD to catch New York’s most well-heeled murderers. Season two of the critically acclaimed series brings new cases and challenges when mistakes of the past come back to haunt Elsbeth, her boss Captain Wagner and Detective Kaya Blanke. Episodes arrive weekly.

Love, Death & Robots: Season 4

Season 4 of the animated tech anthology promises a stylish mix of horror, sci-fi and fantasy.ed giants and robots-gone-wild.

Murderbot

Based on Martha Wells’ bestselling books, this 10-part series is a sci-fi thriller/comedy about a self-hacking security construct who is horrified by human emotion yet drawn to its vulnerable clients. Murderbot must hide its free will and complete a dangerous assignment when all it really wants is to be left alone to watch futuristic soap operas and figure out its place in the universe. Episodes 1 and 2 arrive together, followed by weekly episodes until the finale on 11th July.

Welcome to Wrexham: Season 4

Things are kicking off as Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds welcome us back to Wrexham FC – and what is shaping up to be the greatest underdog story of all time.

Code of Silence

A dangerous game of pursuit—suspenseful new crime drama starring Rose Ayling-Ellis. A deaf waitress with vital lip-reading abilities is pulled into an elaborate investigation.

The Bombing of Pan Am 103

The six-part series is based on the true story of the bombing of a passenger flight over the small Scottish town of Lockerbie in 1988 and the quest to bring its perpetrators to justice. The cast includes Connor Swindells, Merritt Wever, Peter Mullan, Tony Curran, Eddie Marsan and Kevin McKidd. Episodes air on Sundays and Mondays for three weeks.

Nine Perfect Strangers: Season 2

Nine new strangers connected in ways they could never imagine are invited by mysterious guru Masha Dmitrichenko (Nicole Kidman) to join a transformational wellness retreat in the Austrian Alps. Over the course of a week, she takes them to the brink. Will they make it? Will she? Masha is willing to try anything in the interest of healing everyone involved, including herself. Episodes 1 to 2 of this eight-part second season arrive together, followed by episodes weekly.

Sirens

Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy, Milly Alcock, and Kevin Bacon in this dark comedy about Devon (Fahy), who journeys to a lavish island where mansions and hydrangeas abound – and where she comes to realize that the surrounding waters are murkier than they first appear. She tries to reconnect with her younger sister Simone (Alcock), but can’t, thanks to the presence of her sister’s boss, the entrancing and inexplicable Michaela (Moore), who reigns supreme on the island and in Simone’s heart.

Big Mouth: Season 8

Netflix’s adult animation returns for one last chapter.

Clarkson’s Farm: Season 4

Join Jeremy and his team as they navigate new challenges, ambitious projects, and hilarious moments at Diddly Squat Farm. After rounding off Season 4 with the Diddly Squat gang toasting a tumultuous year, we return a few months later for this eight-part fourth chapter to find life on the farm has changed. Kaleb is on a nationwide tour, Lisa is working on a new product line, and Jeremy is left to run the farm alone. In Kaleb’s absence, Jeremy must keep Diddly on track and comes up with an idea. Episodes 1 to 4 arrive together, followed by episodes arriving weekly in pairs.

Week 5

 

Dept Q: Season 1

Matthew Goode stars in Scott Frank’s adaptation of the Danish crime novels, which were previously turned into a film trilogy. This new take on the tales follows Carl Morck, a brash but brilliant cop who becomes head of a new police department, where he leads an unlikely team of misfits in solving Edinburgh’s cold cases.

And Just Like That… Season 3

From executive producer Michael Patrick King, AND JUST LIKE THAT… follows Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte, Seema, and Lisa navigating the complicated reality of life, love, sex, and friendship in their 50s in New York City. Episodes arrive weekly.
