Netflix. Amazon Prime Video. BBC iPlayer. NOW. Walter Presents. Apple TV+. There’s so much TV to watch these days in so many places that it can be hard to keep up. Every month, we boil down what’s on the box to the essentials you need in your streaming queue.
March marks the return of Westworld, the debut of Noughts + Crosses, the latest edition of The Trip (to Greece), the revival of Spielberg’s Amazing Stories, the third run of Castlevania, a spin-off anime from Altered Carbon, a second outing for Korean zombie thriller The Kingdom, a crime-fighting Sigmund Freud, a resurrected Veronica Mars and another dose of Ozark. And yet, the most exciting show is on a brand new streaming service, as Disney+ prepares to launch and take on the competition with Star Wars series The Mandalorian.
We’ve sorted through All The TV to bring you your March watchlist – what’s worth watching, why and where you can find it online in the UK:

Breeders
Martin Freeman enjoys subverting his good-guy image with this new comedy that doesn’t shy away from the frustrations of parenting. He plays Paul, a father of two, a husband of one (Ally – Daisy Haggard) and an office worker with career prospects that are approximately zero. All of this gets on top of him and, when his young sprogs get a little too noisy, he flips and starts swearing at them. There’s a raw honesty to the central paradox – that one can be willing to for for one’s kids while simultaneously wanting to kill them – and it’s one that made BBC series Motherland so effective. The result feels like a retread of familiar territory but with a commendable focus on toxic masculinity – and while there’s some meat to be chewed upon by Freeman and Haggard, it threatens to jar with the apparently happy nature of their marriage.
