Competition: Win Spotlight and the Boston Globe’s book that inspired it
James R | On 21, May 2016
The Oscar-winning Spotlight is out on DVD, Blu-ray and digital in the UK on Monday 23rd May – and you can win a copy of the film and the book that inspired it.
The tense true-crime thriller is based on the Pulitzer Prize-winning investigation, led by Walter ‘Robby’ Robinson (Michael Keaton), who heads up The Boston Globe’s investigative journalist team, known as Spotlight.
Under the direction of a new editor, Marty Baron (Liev Schreiber), the team uncover a scandal deep within the Catholic Church and the wilful ignorance of those in power who have done nothing to stop it. Facing political opposition and resistance from the far-reaching influences of the Church, the reporters put together an explosive exposé revealing that truth is much darker than they could have ever imagined.
With a cast boasting Mark Ruffalo, Rachel McAdams, Liev Schreiber and Stanley Tucci, the movie is gripping, shocking and powerful to watch – an important exposure of the abuse of power at the highest levels in society.
To celebrate the film’s release, we’re giving away the movie on DVD, as well as the Boston Globe’s original piece of journalism – Betrayal: Crisis in the Catholic Church.
To own a copy, simply answer the following question:
