Sky is going international this March, with the debut of a new dystopian German drama, an Italian romance and new US series The Cleaning Lady plus the latest chapters in the FBI franchise – and there’s a slice of UK history on offer too, with the juicy Mary & George. Mary & George: Season 1 (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 5th March
Inspired by the outrageous true story of Mary and Geroge Villiers, Academy Award®-winner Julianne Moore (Still Alice, far From Heaven), Nicholas Galitzine (Cinderella, Purple Hearts) and Tony Curran (Mayflies, Your Honor) star in an audacious historical psychodrama about the treacherous mother and son who schemed, seduced and killed to conquer the Court of England and the bed of its King. Prepared to stop at nothing and armed with ruthless political steel, the pair rose from humble beginnings to become the richest, most titled and influential players the English court had ever seen. As major players on the world stage, the pair will need all their nous to survive, not least as they find themselves amongst the most hated figures in the nation. All episodes arrive at once.
Un Amore: Season 1 (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 6th March
From Sky Italia comes a love story that resists time and distance, set between Bologna and Spain, told in six episodes across two distinct timelines. Ale and Anna met on Interrail in the summer of ’96, but life soon forced them to separate. Twenty years later they both find themselves in Bologna. As the love between them is rekindled, Anna begins to question her marriage, while Ale must decide whether to stay in Bologna. All episodes arrive at once.
The Cleaning Lady: Season 1 (Sky Witness, 9pm) – 11th March
After witnessing a murder, Thony (ELodie Yung) is forced to clean up the scene and is offered a permanent job by the mob… in exchange for her and her son’s life. Episodes arrive weekly.
Royal Kill List: Season 1 (Sky History, 9pm) – 12th March
Royal Kill List looks back at one of the most seismic events in British royal history. On 30th January 1649, for the first and only time, a British monarch, King Charles I, was publicly executed, having been tried and convicted of treason by Parliament. This heralded ten years of Britain as a republic before, in May 1660, the monarchy was restored with the accession of King Charles II. Episodes arrive weekly.
Backstage with the London Philharmonic: Season 1 (Sky Arts, 8pm) – 13th March
This four-part series for Sky Arts spotlights the London Philharmonic Orchestra in the lead up to the opening night of their 2023/2024 season. Episodes arrive weekly.
Record On: The Specials (Sky Arts, 9pm) – 19th March
Celebrating what would have been Terry Hall’s 65th birthday, Sky Arts presents a very… well… special tribute to one of the most influential bands of the 20th century – the Specials.
FBI: Season 6 (Sky Witness, 9pm) – 21st March
Fans of the hit US crime procedural series FBI and its spinoff series will be thrilled to hear that all three series are returning to Sky Witness, starting with the sixth season premiere of the OG series FBI. When a bus explosion kills several innocent people, the team jumps into action to take down the responsible terrorist organization. Meanwhile, Scola tries to balance fatherhood with the job. Episodes arrive weekly.
FBI: International: Season 3 (Sky Witness, 10pm) – 21st March
Joined by a new intel analyst, Special Agent Amanda Tate, The Fly Team continue their mission of neutralizing threats against US citizens across Europe. As the new series begins, the team works to clean up the pieces left behind after a massive explosion rocks their headquarters, with the key suspect managing to slip away. Episodes arrive weekly.
SWAT: Season 7 (Sky Max, 9pm) – 24th March
The end is near for Hondo and his team, as the final thirteen-episode season of SWAT begins this March. As the end approaches, the team heads to Mexico to escort a fugitive back to the States when things go awry and Hondo has to save an old witness tied to the case. Episodes arrive weekly.
Helgoland 513: Season 1 (Sky Atlantic, 9pm) – 22nd March
From Sky Deutchland comes a new dystopian drama series created and directed by Robert Schwentke (director of Flightplan, RED, The Divergent Series: Insurgent and Allegiant, and The Time Travellers Wife). It’s 2036 and Helgoland has become the last safe haven for humanity. A small community of survivors are entrenched on Germany’s only deep-sea island following an apocalypse that has thrown the rest of the world into chaos. A totalitarian society is established, tolerating only 513 people on the island at any one time. The survivors trapped on the island have limited resources to share and an inhumane social-ranking system determines the lives of each of the 513 inhabitants. Helgoland’s only doctor is high on the priority list, whilst others are far behind and have to fight for a better place and, their ultimate survival. But they face another threat from the outside. On the mainland, a group of rebels are preparing to conquer the island and disrupt the last safe place for mankind.
FBI: Most Wanted: Season 5 (Sky Witness) – Date TBC
Special Agents Scott, Barnes, Gibson and Gaines are back in the fifth season of FBI: Most Wanted, joined by new addition Special Agent Nina Chase – marking her debut as a series regular following her recurring role in FBI.

A committed cast and gripping race sequences don’t quite gel together in Michael Mann’s entertaining but uneven motoring biopic.
Mavka: The Forest Song – 2nd March
Young and naive forest spirit Mavka, develops feelings for a human musician, Lukas. As they grow closer to each other, an inevitable situation forces Mavka to choose between her love and her duty as a guardian of the forest. Beatutiful animation based on the Ukrainian folk tale.
L’Immensita – 3rd March
In 1970s Rome, a mother tackles her abusive marriage while caring for her children. Italian family drama starring Penelope Cruz.
The Beekeeper – 8th March
From director David Ayer, Jason Statham is a man with a vengeance with one mission: Expose the corruption. Protect the Hive.
The Canterville Ghost – 9th March
A Stephen Fry-led reimagining of the same-name short story by Oscar Wilde that screened as an Official Selection of the 2023 Annecy Animation Film Festival, The Canterville Ghost tells the story of a modern American family that moves to their recently purchased country home, Canterville Chase in England, only to find it is haunted by a ghost. Effectively, Sir Simon de Canterville (Fry) has been haunting the grounds of Canterville Chase successfully for over 300 years, but he meets his match when he tries to scare out the new arrivals.
Breaking – 10th March
When Marine Veteran Brian Brown-Easley is denied support from Veterans Affairs, financially desperate and running out of options, he takes a bank and several of its employees hostage, setting the stage for a tense confrontation with the police. Based on the true story.
The Flash – 15th March
Worlds collide when Barry Allen uses his superpowers to travel back in time in order to change the events of the past. But when his attempt to save his family inadvertently alters the future, Barry becomes trapped in a reality in which General Zod has returned, threatening annihilation, and there are no Superheroes to turn to. That is, unless Barry can coax a very different Batman out of retirement and rescue an imprisoned Kryptonian… albeit not the one he’s looking for. Ultimately, to save the world that he is in and return to the future that he knows, Barry’s only hope is to race for his life. But will making the ultimate sacrifice be enough to reset the universe?
Jules – 16th March
Jules follows Milton (Ben Kingsley) who lives a quiet life of routine in a small western Pennsylvania town, but finds his day upended when a UFO and its extra-terrestrial passenger crash land in his backyard. Before long, Milton develops a close relationship with the extra-terrestrial he calls “Jules.” Things become complicated when two neighbours (Harriet Sansom Harris and Jane Curtin) discover Jules and the government quickly closes in. What follows is a funny, wildly inventive ride as the three neighbours find meaning and connection later in life – thanks to this unlikely stranger.
Golda – 17th March
Golda is a ticking-clock thriller set during the tense 19 days of the Yom Kippur War in 1973. Israeli Prime Minister Golda Meir (Helen Mirren), faced with the potential of Israel’s complete destruction, must navigate overwhelming odds, a sceptical cabinet, and a complex relationship with US Secretary of State Henry Kissinger (Liev Schreiber), with millions of lives in the balance. Her tough leadership and compassion would ultimately decide the fate of her nation and leave her with a controversial legacy around the world.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle: Mutant Mayhem – 22nd March
After years of being sheltered from the human world, the Turtle brothers set out to win the hearts of New Yorkers and be accepted as normal teenagers. Their new friend, April O’Neil, helps them take on a mysterious crime syndicate, but they soon get in over their heads when an army of mutants is unleashed upon them.
Gran Turismo – 23rd March
Based on the true story of Jann Mardenborough, Gran Turismo is the ultimate wish fulfilment tale of a teenage Gran Turismo player whose gaming skills won a series of Nissan competitions to become an actual professional racecar driver.
Carmen – 24th March
Featuring an original score and songs, Benjamin Millepied’s reimagining tells a story through an experimental dreamscape. Melissa Barrera and Paul Mescal star.
Barbie – 29th March
To live in Barbie Land is to be a perfect being in a perfect place. Unless you have a full-on existential crisis. Barbie and Ken are having the time of their lives in the colourful and seemingly perfect world of Barbie Land. However, when they get a chance to go to the real world, they soon discover the joys and perils of living among humans.
Paw Patrol: The Mighty Movie – 30th March
When a magical meteor crash lands in Adventure City, it gives the PAW Patrol pups superpowers, transforming them into The MIGHTY PUPS! For Skye, the smallest member of the team, her new powers are a dream come true. But things take a turn for the worse when the pups’ archrival Humdinger breaks out of jail and teams up with Victoria Vance, a meteor-obsessed mad scientist, to steal the superpowers and turn themselves into supervillains. With the fate of Adventure City hanging in the balance, the Mighty Pups have to stop the supervillains before it’s too late, and Skye will need to learn that even the smallest pup can make the biggest difference.
One Day as a Lion – 31st March
