Top 19 new releases coming soon to NOW TV in May 2015

Game of Thrones Season 5 was so last month. In May, NOW broadens its TV horizons with the arrival – finally – of The Affair in the UK. That kicks off at the same time as M. Night Shyamalan’s new show, although both arrive on the coat tails of Penny Dreadful’s long-awaited Season 2. All of those and Mad Men are part of an Entertainment Membership, which costs £6.99 a month.
In movie land, Cold in July, Rise of the Planet of the Apes and Oculus join the line-up, along with Face/Off and Close Encounters of the First Kind. Those are part of a NOW Cinema Membership, which costs £9.99 a month.

Penny Dreadful Season 2 (Sky Atlantic) – Tuesday 5th May
A longer, 10-episode second season for this horror drama sees Vanessa (Eva Green) and Ethan (Josh Hartnett) form a deeper bond, as the group, including Sir Malcolm (Timothy Dalton), Dr. Frankenstein (Harry Treadaway), and Sembene (Danny Sapani), unite to banish the evil forces that threaten to destroy them. Meanwhile, Dorian Gray (Reeve Carney), Frankenstein’s monster (Rory Kinnear) and Brona (Billie Piper) are all waging battles of their own. Can’t wait for Season 2 of Penny Dreadful? The Enfield Haunting (Sky Living) – Sunday 3rd May
Based on an account of the titular event by paranormal investigator Guy Lyon Playfair, the three-part mini-series presents events that took place at an ordinary house in Enfield during the autumn of 1977.
Matthew Macfadyen plays Playfair, a colleague to researcher Maurice Grosse (Timothy Spall), who strikes up a connection with Janet (Eleanor Worthington-Cox), when he investigates the strange happenings at the Hodgson family home.
The Affair (Sky Atlantic) – Wednesday 13th May
Dominic West and Ruth Wilson star in the Golden Globe-winning The Affair, which explores the emotional and psychological effects of an extramarital relationship between a married waitress and another man.
Wayward Pines (FOX UK) – Thursday 14th May
This mystery from M. Night Shyamalan sees two FBI agents go missing in the titular town of Wayward Pines…
