Stranger Things. Stranger Things. Stranger Things. That’s Netflix’s big bet for the winter season, as the sci-fi hit returns for its final chapter just in time for Christmas binge-watching. It’s joined by the return of Squid Game: The Challenge, Selling the OC and A Man on the Inside, plus a new take on Frankenstein from Guillermo del Toro and a new festive rom-com starring Connor Swindells.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Netflix UK in November 2025:

Squid Game: The Challenge: Season 2 – 4th November

The reality show based on Netflix’s hit satire about a reality show that forces people to compete in lethal games for money returns – without the lethal part. Or the satire. The first four episodes arrive together, followed by the second four episodes a week later – and a season finale on 18th November.

Frankenstein (2025) – 7th November

Oscar Isaac and Jacob Elordi star in Guillermo del Toro’s adaptation of Mary Shelley’s classic horror.

Des: Season 1 – 8th November

Starring David Tennant, ITV’s brilliantly acted true crime drama is a gripping, disturbing retelling of the circus surrounding a serial killer.

Selling the OC: Season 4 – 12th November

The OC agents are back and ready to establish their office as the top brokerage within the Oppenheim Group.

A Man on the Inside: Season 2 – 20th November

Ted Danson will return for Season 2 of the Mike Schur comedy, which this time sees retiree Charles undercover on campus.

ONE SHOT with Ed Sheeran – 21st November

One singer. One city. One shot. Ed Sheeran rocks the streets of New York with his greatest hits in this groundbreaking, real-time music experience.

The Holdovers – 22nd November

Paul Giamatti reunites with director Alexander Payne for this quietly moving, superbly written drama about a teacher and student stuck together for Christmas.

Jingle Bell Heist – 26th November

Two down-on-their-luck hourly workers team up to rob a posh London department store on Christmas Eve. Starring Olivia Holt (Heart Eyes) and Connor Swindells (Sex Education), directed by Michael Fimognari (To All the Boys: P.S. I Still Love You) and written by Abby McDonald (Bridgerton) and Amy Reed (Diary of a Future President).

Stranger Things: Season 5, Volume 1 – 27th November

The fall of 1987. Hawkins is scarred by the opening of the Rifts, and our heroes are united by a single goal: find and kill Vecna. But he has vanished — his whereabouts and plans unknown. Complicating their mission, the government has placed the town under military quarantine and intensified its hunt for Eleven, forcing her back into hiding. As the anniversary of Will’s disappearance approaches, so does a heavy, familiar dread. The final battle is looming — and with it, a darkness more powerful and more deadly than anything they’ve faced before. To end this nightmare, they’ll need everyone — the full party — standing together, one last time. Season 5 premieres on 26th November, with Volume 1, followed by Volume 2 on Christmas Day, then the final on New Year’s Eve.
