Apple TV+ is ramping up the suspense to start 2026, with the return of thrillers Hijack and Tehran – and, for a bit of decompression, the third chapter of the heartfelt brilliance that is Shrinking.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Apple TV+ in January 2026:

Tehran: Season 3 – 9th January

This thriller follows Tamar (Niv Sultan), a Mossad hacker-agent who infiltrates Tehran under a false identity. After going rogue at the end of Season 2 and reeling from the loss of her closest allies, in Season 3, Tamar must find a way to reinvent herself and win back the Mossad’s support if she is to survive. Sultan will reprise her widely acclaimed role for the eight-part third season, alongside returning stars Shaun Toub and Shila Ommi, and new additions Hugh Laurie, Sasson Gabai, Bahar Pars and Phoenix Raei. Episodes arrive weekly until the finale on 27th February.

Hijack: Season 2 – 14th January

This eight-part second season of the thriller series sees a Berlin underground train and its commuters taken hostage. Above ground, authorities scramble to save hundreds of lives, while Sam Nelson (Idris Elba) is at the heart of the crisis on board, where one wrong decision could spell disaster. Episodes arrive weekly until the finale on 4th March.

Drops of God: Season 2 – 21st January

In the eight-part Season 2 of the Japanese wine drama, Camille and Issei are thrust into their most perilous challenge yet: to uncover the origin of the world’s greatest wine, a mystery so profound that even their legendary father, Alexandre Léger, could not solve it. What begins as a pursuit of legacy becomes a search for truth that spans continents and centuries, unearthing forgotten histories, hidden rivalries and secrets buried for generations. Episodes arrive weekly until the finale on 11th March.

Shrinking: Season 3 – 28th January

Bill Lawrence, Brett Goldstein and Jason Segel’s comedy returns to continuing following a grieving therapist (Segel) who starts to break the rules and tell his clients exactly what he thinks. Ignoring his training and ethics, he finds himself making huge, tumultuous changes to people’s lives … including his own. Season 3 will see Harrison Ford, Christa Miller, Jessica Williams, Luke Tennie, Michael Urie, Lukita Maxwell and Ted McGinley joined by guest stars Brett Goldstein, Jeff Daniels and Michael J Fox. Episodes arrive weekly until the finale on 8th April.
