Apple TV+ is bringing back one of its biggest hits to date in August, with the return of the international epic Pachinko. It’s joined by a new series from Bill Lawrence and a blockbuster from Doug Liman.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Apple TV+ UK in August 2024:

Cowboy Cartel: Season 1 – 2nd August

This four-part documentary tells the extraordinary story of the rookie FBI agent who cracked the case of one of Mexico’s most ruthless cartels, Los Zetas, and the multimillion-dollar money laundering operation they ran through the heart of the American Quarter Horse racing industry. All episodes arrive at once.

Yo Gabba GabbaLand: Season 1 – 9th August

Join familiar friends Muno, Foofa, Plex, Brobee and Toodee, and meet new magician Kammy Kam. Dance, sing, play and make learning fun as kids and parents jump into Yo Gabba GabbaLand and discover all the things that make this community so magical. All episodes arrive at once.

The Instigators – 9th August

Doug Liman’s action thriller stars Matt Damon and Casey Affleck as reluctant partners Rory and Cobby: a desperate father and an ex-con thrown together to rob a corrupt politician’s ill-gained earnings. But when the heist goes wrong, the two find themselves engulfed in a whirlwind of chaos, pursued not only by police but also by backward bureaucrats and vengeful crime bosses. Completely out of their depth, they convince Rory’s therapist (Hong Chau) to join their riotous getaway through the city, where they must put aside their differences and work together to evade capture — or worse.

Bad Monkey: Season 1 – 14th August

This 10-part comedy tells the story of Andrew Yancy (Vince Vaughn), who has been bounced from the Miami Police Department and is now a health inspector in the Keys. But after stumbling upon a case that begins with a human arm fished up by tourists, he realises that if he can prove murder, he’ll be back in. He just needs to get past a trove of Floridian oddballs and one bad monkey. Based on Carl Hiaasen’s New York Times bestselling novel, with Bill Lawrence as showrunner. Episodes 1 and 2 arrive together, followed by weekly episodes until the finale on 9th October.

Pachinko: Season 2 – 23rd August

Epic in scope and intimate in tone, the story begins with a forbidden love and crescendos into a sweeping saga that journeys between Korea, Japan and America to tell an unforgettable story of war and peace, love and loss, triumph and reckoning. The eight episodes each arrive weekly until the finale on 11th October.

K-Pop Idols – 30th August

Glitz meets grit in this backstage pass to artists from around the world. Through trials and triumphs, Jessi, CRAVITY and BLACKSWAN give everything they’ve got to an art form that demands nothing less than perfection.
