8. Austin: Season 2

This sweet sitcom about a cancelled children’s author (Ben Miller) connecting with his estranged autistic son (Michael Theo) is a gentle slice of heartwarming, nuanced joy.

9. Star Trek: Strange New Worlds: Season 4

Anson Mount’s Captain Pike returns in this entertaining Star Trek spin-off.

10. Lucky

An excellent Anya Taylor-Joy grounds this absurd but thrillingly fast-moving tale about a con artist on the run.
