Amazon is getting festive this December with several original festive movies and rom0coms – plus a thriller from David Mackenzie. But there’s one big present Amazon is unwrapping this Christmas, with the return of Fallout for Season 2.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Amazon Prime Video UK in December 2025:

The Merchants of Joy – 1st December

In the city that never sleeps, five families hustle each winter to turn sidewalks into holiday outposts. The Merchants of Joy follows these Christmas die-hards as they source, sell, and safeguard a family tradition at risk. It’s a warm, grounded portrait of pride, grit, and the joy they bring—one tree, one customer, one season at a time.

Oh. What. Fun. – 3rd December

Confessions of a Female Serial Killer – 7th December

In March 2013, Joanne Dennehy, a mum of two from Hertfordshire, begins a killing spree brutally stabbing three men to death. A few days later, she strikes again trying to kill two more, picking them out at random as they’re out walking their dogs. Now serving a whole life sentence, Dennehy is known as Britain’s most notorious female serial killer but how did she turn from mother to murderer?

Merv – 10th December

When their beloved dog Merv loses his spark after their split, Anna (Zooey Deschanel) and Russ (Charlie Cox) are forced into the world’s most awkward co-parenting arrangement. Hoping to shake Merv out of his funk, Russ takes him to Florida for a much-needed getaway—only for Anna to show up unexpectedly. As Merv slowly gets his groove back, turns out fixing their dog’s broken heart may lead to a few sparks of their own.

Tell Me Softly – 12th December

Kamila Hamilton had everything under control… or so she thought: it wasn’t in her plans for the Di Bianco brothers to return and turn her world upside down again. Fallout: Season 2 – 17th December

Based on one of the greatest video game series of all time, Fallout is the story of haves and have-nots in a world in which there’s almost nothing left to have. Two-hundred years after the apocalypse, the gentle denizens of luxury fallout shelters are forced to return to the irradiated hellscape their ancestors left behind—and are shocked to discover an incredibly complex, gleefully weird, and highly violent universe waiting for them. Episodes arrive weekly until the finale on 4th February 2026.

Human Specimens: Season 1 – 18th December

Human Specimens is adapted from the novel by Kanae Minato, one of Japan’s most celebrated mystery writers, known for her international bestseller Confessions which was adapted into the acclaimed film that represented Japan at the 83rd Academy Awards. The dark tale follows Professor Shirô Sakaki, a butterfly researcher, who confesses to turning six young boys, including his own son Itaru, into “human specimens”. All episodes arrive together.
