It’s a summer of farewells at Netflix, as Vikings: Valhalla, The Dragon Prince and Elite all reach their final chapters. But it’s also a month of new beginnings, with the latest offering from Studio Ponoc, a revival of the Beverly Hills Cop franchise, and the start of a new docuseries about Simone Biles. Plus, fresh from Cannes, is Skywalkers: A Love Story.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Netflix UK in July 2024:

Kin: Season 2 – 1st July

Charlie Cox, Aidan Gillen and Clare Dunne lead this star-studded drama about a crime family in Dublin caught up in a turf war. Gripping, heightened and gritty.

Sprint: Season 1 – 2nd July

Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F – 3rd July

Detective Axel Foley (Eddie Murphy) is back on the beat in Beverly Hills. After his daughter’s life is threatened, she (Taylour Paige) and Foley team up with a new partner (Joseph Gordon-Levitt) and old pals Billy Rosewood (Judge Reinhold) and John Taggart (John Ashton) to turn up the heat and uncover a conspiracy.

Living – 3rd July

An ordinary man receives news which compels him to rejig his outlook on life in this Oscar-nominated drama starring Bill Nighy.

The Imaginary – 5th July

Studio Ponoc’s new film portrays the depths of humanity and creativity through the eyes of young Amanda and her imaginary companion, Rudger, a boy no one can see imagined by Amanda to share her thrilling make-believe adventures. But when Rudger, suddenly alone, arrives at The Town of Imaginaries, where forgotten Imaginaries live and find work, he faces a mysterious threat. Directed by renowned animator Yoshiyuki Momose (Spirited Away), The Imaginary is an adventure of love, loss, and the healing power of imagination.

Sugar Rush: The Baking Point: Season 2 – 10th July

Six couples of bakers will have to face giant cakes, sweet delicacies that fight gravity and more challenges if they want to be crowned winners and take home $1 million pesos. Capi Pérez, Gris Verduzco (Mis Pastelitos) and Luis Robledo are back in for season 2 of this competition series.

Vikings: Valhalla: Season 3 – 11th July

In pursuit of a new Viking home, our heroes must venture further than they ever have before. From Constantinople to Greenland to the edge of the known world. But before they can set sail for new horizons, they must travel back to where it all started for one last battle. Heroes will become Legends in this final chapter in the Vikings: Valhalla saga.

Exploding Kittens: Season 1 – 12th July

It’s the ultimate fight between good and evil when God and his nemesis, the spawn of Satan, are sent to Earth to live with humans — as talking cats.

Simone Biles Rising: Season 1, Part 1 – 17th July

The world was shocked when gymnast Simone Biles withdrew from numerous events during the Tokyo 2020 Summer Olympics — especially considering the fact that she was the clear front-runner for several gold medals. However, at the same time, Biles was struggling with her mental health. Rather than push herself to the brink, she decided to withdraw from the competition. Four years later, Biles has unfinished business, and upcoming doc series Simone Biles Rising offers an intimate look at the story behind it all. The first part of this four-episode documentary arrives just before the start of the Paris 2024 Olympics.

LALIGA: All Access: Season 1 – 19th July

The Dragon Prince: Season 6 – 26th July

An extraordinary discovery inspires two human princes and an elven assassin to team up on an epic quest to bring peace to their warring lands. Netflix’s animated epic reaches its final chapter.

Mountain Queen: The Summits of Lhakpa Sherpa – 31st July

The first Nepali woman to summit and survive Mount Everest, Lhakpa Sherpa devoted her life to inspiring and empowering girls. Now a single mother working at a Whole Foods in Connecticut, she embarks on a dramatic return to the mountain, determined to redeem her life’s purpose and inspire her own daughters.
