Russell Crowe is stepping into the shoes of Hermann Göring in Nuremberg, and a new trailer gives us a first look at the thought-provoking historical drama.
Based on Jack El-Hai’s acclaimed book The Nazi and the Psychiatrist, Nuremberg is inspired by the true story of the eponymous trials held by the Allies against the defeated Nazi regime. The film explores the psychological chess match between American psychiatrist Douglas Kelley and Nazi leader Hermann Göring. Russell Crowe delivers a chilling performance as Göring, while Rami Malek portrays Kelley, tasked with evaluating the mental fitness of Nazi war criminals.
Nuremberg boasts a powerhouse ensemble cast, including Michael Shannon, Richard E Grant and Leo Woodall, who speaks German in the role of translator Howard Triest. Written and directed by James Vanderbilt, the film is a thriller set in the shadow of the crimes that have haunted global history for decades to come.
Rounding out the all-star cast are John Slattery, Mark O’Brien, Colin Hanks, Lydia Peckham, Wrenn Schmidt, Lotte Verbeek, and Andreas Pietschmann. You can see them in action when the film is released in cinemas in November 2025, before premiering on Sky Cinema in 2026.
