“You’ve got a secret…”
The teaser trailer for SPECTRE has been released.
The 24th outing for Bond sees Daniel Craig reprise his role as 007 for the third time, as a cryptic message from Bond’s past sends him on a trail to uncover a sinister organisation.
While M battles political forces to keep the secret service alive, Bond peels back the layers of deceit to reveal “the terrible truth behind SPECTRE”.
Sam Mendes returns to direct the movie, with a script by John Logan, Neal Purvis and Robert Wade. Craig is joined by Andrew Scott, Christoph Waltz, Dave Bautista, Monica Belluci and Lea Seydoux.
The film is a follow-up to Skyfall, which took in $1.1 billion worldwide and is now the biggest Bond film of all time. A tall order to live up to, then, but judging by this short glimpse, from its beautiful snowy landscapes (hello to DoP Hoyte Van Hoytema) and familiar, sinister logos, SPECTRE is already standing in good stead.
The trailer arrives hot on the heels of behind-the-scenes footage from the production, which you can watch below. The movie is set for global release in cinemas on Friday 6th November, while Skyfall is now available on VOD.
