Trailer: Netflix unleashes Havoc this April

Tom Hardy is heading to Netflix next month, and a new trailer gives us a first look at him in action.
The film follows a bruised detective who, after a drug deal goes wrong, must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.
It’s written and directed by Gareth Evans, marking the first film under his agreement to produce and direct films exclusively for the streamer. Hardy produces as well as stars in the project. He’s joined on screen by Jessie Mei Li, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Michelle Waterson, Sunny Pang, Jim Caesar, Xelia Mendes-Jones, Yeo Yann Yann, Timothy Olyphant and Forest Whitaker.
The film will premiere on 25th April. Here’s the video:
Timothy Olyphant joins Gareth Evans’ Havoc

Timothy Olyphant is leading a number of new cast additions to Gareth Evans’ Havoc.
The film follows a bruised detective who, after a drug deal goes wrong, must fight his way through a criminal underworld to rescue a politician’s estranged son, while unraveling a deep web of corruption and conspiracy that ensnares his entire city.
Gareth Evans recently signed an exclusive deal with Netflix to produce and direct films for the studio for the next several years. Havoc will be the first feature under that agreement. Evans will produce for One More One Productions, alongside Ed Talfan for Severn Screen and Aram Tertzakian for XYZ Films.
Tom Hardy will also produce and star in the film, with Forest Whitaker also cast. Now, they’ve got some company, with Olyphant, Jessie Mei Li, Yeo Yann Yann, Justin Cornwell, Quelin Sepulveda, Luis Guzmán, Sunny Pang, and UFC mixed martial artist Michelle Waterson joining the line-up.
Olyphant is no stranger to the streamer, having starred in the now-cancelled Santa Clarita Diet.
Havoc: Tom Hardy to star in Gareth Evans’ Netflix film

Tom Hardy and Gareth Evans are teaming up to create Havoc with Netflix.
Hardy (Venom, Dunkirk, The Revenant) will produce and star in the movie, which is written by Evans. The Gangs of London and The Raid director is no stranger to the streamer; he previously collaborated with Netflix, XYZ and Severn Screen on the 2018 horror/thriller Apostle starring Dan Stevens, Michael Sheen and Kristine Froseth. Now, Evans has signed an exclusive deal with Netflix to produce and direct movies in a multi-year partnership, and Havoc is the first out of the gates.
