Becoming Led Zeppelin (Sky Documentaries) – 9th August
Becoming Led Zeppelin explores the origins of this iconic group and their meteoric rise in just one year against all the odds. Powered by awe-inspiring, psychedelic, never- before-seen footage, performances, and music, Bernard MacMahon’s experiential cinematic odyssey explores Led Zeppelin’s creative, musical, and personal origin story. The film is told in the bands own words and is the first officially sanctioned film on the group.
Richard Ramirez: The Night Stalker Tapes (Sky Crime, 9pm) – 10th August
Through exclusive audio interviews with Richard Ramirez on San Quentin’s Death Row, as well as with his family members and his wife – most of which have never been heard before – this documentary explores how a perfect storm of twisted boyhood influences and drug addiction enabled a troubled young man from El Paso, Texas, to become one of the most infamous serial killers in history. The series also features rare footage of his bride on their 1996 wedding eve, video interviews with his victims’ family members, former friends and female admirers who have never told their stories in a documentary format. Together, these elements offer an unsettling and thought-provoking look into the mind of a brutal serial killer through those who knew him best. This series holds a mirror up to reflect the culture of fandom in the 1980s, which turned a maniacal killer into a serial killer rock star for legions of fans who became obsessed with him. Both parts are available on-demand at once.
Resident Alien: Season 4 (Sky Max, 9pm) – 12th August
Harry must contend with another alien who looks a lot like him (but isn’t nearly as, you know, normal) and other out-of-this-world challenges in Resident Alien season four. This season starts with Harry (Alan Tudyk) and his baby Bridget stuck in prison on the Grey Moonbase, while a shape-shifting Alien called a Mantid (also Alan Tudyk) has taken over his body on Earth passing himself off as the real Harry Vanderspeigle. Harry manages to escape the Greys and arrives back on Earth for a showdown with the Mantid Alien, but soon finds he may not have what he needs to finish the job. All episodes arrive on-demand at once.
FBI: Most Wanted: Season 6 (Sky Witness, 10pm) – 12th August

Episodes arrive weekly.
Amsterdam Narcos: Season 1 (Sky Documentaries, 9pm) – 13th August
From the 1970s to the early 2000s, the Dutch city of Amsterdam transformed from a liberal countercultural haven into the drugs capital of Europe. What began as a government tolerating the hash trade soon opened the floodgates to organised crime, leaving the police playing catch up as ecstasy and cocaine smuggling followed. Amsterdam fuelled a pipeline of drugs and criminality through British ports, and right across Europe. As the Dutch underworld exploded and with the drugs trade spiralling out of control, law enforcement resorted to desperate measures in a bid to catch the gangsters. Told through the personal testimony of drug users, manufacturers, traffickers, and the detectives who tried to outsmart them, this three-part series charts how underground rebellion escalated into an increasingly lethal, multi-billion-pound industry. All episodes arrive on-demand at once.
Mrs Robinson (Sky Documentaries) – 17th August
Mrs Robinson tells Mary’s story, in her own words, for the very first time – illuminating battles for justice and equality over half a century; on the streets, in the courts, at the ballot box, and in backroom corridors of power. A reforming constitutional lawyer and senator in her early career, Mary Robinson detonated an electoral earthquake by winning the Irish Presidential vote in 1990. Later, as a crusading UN High Commissioner, she built a lasting legacy; fearlessly challenging perpetrators of human rights abuses all over the world. To this day, she exerts power and leadership as the Chair of The Elders; the independent group of global leaders (founded by Nelson Mandela) who work for peace, justice and human rights.
Peacemaker: Season 2 (Sky Max, 9pm) – 22nd August
Season two of Peacemaker follows Christopher “Chris” Smith, aka Peacemaker, the vigilante superhero as he struggles to reconcile his past with his newfound sense of purpose while continuing to kick righteous evil-doer butt in his misguided quest for peace at any cost. John Cena, Danielle Brooks, Jennifer Holland, Freddie Stroma, Steve Agee, and Robert Patrick return for season two. New cast members include Frank Grillo, David Denman, Sol Rodriguez, and Tim Meadows. Episodes arrive weekly.
The Yogurt Shop Murders (Sky Documentaries, 8pm) – 28th August
In 1991, four teenage girls were brutally murdered at a frozen yogurt shop in Austin, Texas. What happened that night forever shook the Austin community and continues to mystify the police and haunt the families left in the wake of unthinkable loss.
