Netflix is dropping a string of intriguing series this spring, including relationship comedy The Four Seasons, crime drama Dept Q and dark mystery Sirens. They’re joined by the return of animations Big Mouth and Love, Death + Robots.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Netflix UK in May 2025:

The Four Seasons : Season 1 – 1st May

There are friends for a reason, and friends for all seasons. This comedy series follows long-time friends through the ups and downs of life over the course of four seasonal vacations (Spring, Summer, Fall, Winter). Together they have a lot to unpack. Starring Tina Fey, Will Forte, Kerri Kenney-Silver, Marco Calvani, Erika Henningsen, with Colman Domingo and Steve Carell.

Nonnas – 9th May

After the loss of his mother, Joe Scaravella (Vince Vaughn) risks everything to honor her by opening an Italian restaurant with a group of local grandmothers as the chefs.

Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning – 11th May

Tom Cruise takes on AI in this rollicking romp of an impossible sequel.

Love, Death + Robots: Volume 4 – 15th May

Season 4 of the animated tech anthology promises a stylish mix of horror, sci-fi and fantasy.

Sirens: Season 1 – 22nd May

Julianne Moore, Meghann Fahy, Milly Alcock, and Kevin Bacon in this dark comedy about Devon (Fahy), who journeys to a lavish island where mansions and hydrangeas abound – and where she comes to realize that the surrounding waters are murkier than they first appear. She tries to reconnect with her younger sister Simone (Alcock), but can’t, thanks to the presence of her sister’s boss, the entrancing and inexplicable Michaela (Moore), who reigns supreme on the island and in Simone’s heart. 

Big Mouth: Season 8 – 23rd May

Get ready for the big finish.

Fear Street: Prom Queen – 23rd May

Prom at Shadyside High is underway and the school’s It Girls are busy jockeying for the crown. But when the candidates start to disappear, a gutsy outsider learns she’s in for one hell of a prom night.

Dept Q: Season 1 – 29th May

Matthew Goode stars in Scott Frank’s adaptation of the Danish crime novels, which were previously turned into a film trilogy. This new take on the tales follows Carl Morck, a brash but brilliant cop who becomes head of a new police department, where he leads an unlikely team of misfits in solving Edinburgh’s cold cases.
