Netflix is pulling out all the stops to start 2026, with the debut of new Agatha Christie and Harlan Coben adaptations, a live recording of George Clooney’s Good Night, and Good Luck, a thriller starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and a Take That documentary. Not to mention the return of Bridgerton and the finale of Stranger Things.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Netflix UK in January 2026:

Run Away: Season 1 – 1st January

How far into the tangled web of dark secrets would you go to find your missing daughter? Netflix’s latest Harlan Coben adaptation follows a desperate father searching for his runaway daughter, only to get caught up in a murder case — and stumble upon secrets which could destroy his family for good. Starring James Nesbitt, Ruth Jones, Minnie Driver and Alfred Enoch.

Stranger Things: Season 5 finale – 1st January

One last time.

The Life of Chuck – 5th January

Mike Flanagan’s adaptation of Stephen King’s novella is a life-affirming, genre-bending story about three chapters in the life of an ordinary man named Charles Krantz.

Good Night, and Good Luck: Live from Broadway – 7th January

In this stage play filmed live, journalist Edward R. Murrow confronts Sen. Joseph McCarthy over the fear and propaganda shaping US politics in the 1950s. George Clooney stars in this adaptation of his own film.

His & Hers – 8th January

Two estranged spouses — one a detective (Jon Bernthal), the other a news reporter (Tessa Thompson) — vie to solve a murder in which each believes the other is a prime suspect.

Agatha Christie’s Seven Dials – 15th January

England. 1925. At a lavish country house party, a practical joke appears to have gone horribly, murderously wrong. It will be up to the unlikeliest of sleuths – the fizzingly inquisitive Lady Eileen ‘Bundle’ Brent – to unravel a chilling plot that will change her life, cracking wide open the country house mystery.

The Rip – 16th January

Upon discovering millions in cash in a derelict stash house, trust among a team of Miami cops begins to fray. As outside forces learn about the size of the seizure, everything is called into question — including who they can rely on. Starring Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and directed by Joe Carnahan.

Star Search: Season 1 – 21st January

The iconic US talent show that launched global legends returns in this revial from Netflix, bringing a new generation of talent to the stage.

Take That – 27th January

This three-part documentary uses never-before-seen archive footage to chart the rise, fall and record-breaking reunion of one of the UK’s most iconic boy bands. From their early beginnings as five piece formed in Manchester to becoming pop superstars, relive the camaraderie, chaos, and resilience that fueled their meteoric rise, dramatic split, and one of the greatest comebacks in British music history. Told in their own words, this is the deeply personal and definitive story of Take That.

Bridgerton: Season 4 – 29th January

The fourth season of Bridgerton turns its focus to bohemian second son Benedict (Luke Thompson). Despite his elder and younger brothers both being happily married, Benedict is loath to settle down – until he meets a captivating Lady in Silver at his mother’s masquerade ball. Volume 1 (comprising the first four episodes) arrives all together, followed by Volume 2 on 26th February.
