Amazon is going big this summer, with the debut of two blockbuster series: a new Batman animated outing and the return of The Rings of Power.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Amazon Prime Video UK in August 2024:

Influenced – 1st August

Influenced is an evolution of the talk show format, bridging the gap between social media and TV, led by a panel of top content creators with varying spheres of influence and interest, and featuring subject matter experts whose businesses were built across mediums. Influenced encompasses all things lifestyle, from food, fashion, home design, travel, and beauty to entertainment, popular culture, mental health, spirituality, and wellness. The thirty-minute episodes will be co-hosted by popular social media personalities Achieng Agutu, Eyal Booker, Tefi Pessoa, Taryn Delanie Smith, and Cyrus Veyssi. All episodes arrive at once.

Batman: Caped Crusader: Season 1 – 1st August

Welcome to Gotham City, where the corrupt outnumber the good, criminals run rampant and law-abiding citizens live in a constant state of fear. Forged in the fire of tragedy, wealthy socialite Bruce Wayne becomes something both more and less than human—the BATMAN. His one-man crusade attracts unexpected allies within the GCPD and City Hall, but his heroic actions spawn deadly, unforeseen ramifications. The series is a reimagining of the Batman mythology through the visionary lens of executive producers JJ Abrams, Matt Reeves and Bruce Timm. All episodes arrive at once.

No Way Up – 2nd August

When a plane crashes in the Pacific Ocean and comes to rest on the edge of an underwater ravine, the survivors face a race against time to escape the airlocked galley they are trapped in.

One Fast Move – 8th August

This action-adventure thrill ride movie follows Neal (KJ Apa), a young man down on his luck who seeks out his estranged father to help him pursue his dream of becoming a professional motorcycle racer. With the help of his small town love interest and a motorcycle shop owner who moonlights as his mentor, he begins to break down the walls that his father’s absence had built up.

The Mallorca Files: Season 3 – 8th August

Set on the sun-drenched and glamorous island of Mallorca, The Mallorca Files centers around ambitious British detective Miranda Blake (Elen Rhys, Consent, The One That Got Away) and her laidback German partner Max Winter (Julian Looman, The Ibiza Affair, Constellation) who make up the perfect team – if only they could see it. In Season 3, amid high-stakes adventures, treasure hunts, arson, kidnappings, and murders, Max and Miranda’s personal tensions and odd-couple partnership are put to the test. All episodes arrive at once.

Arthur The King – 9th August

An adventure racer (Mark Wahlberg) adopts a stray dog named Arthur to join him in an epic endurance race. Directed by Simon Cellan Jones.

Jackpot! – 15th August

In the near future, a ‘Grand Lottery’ has been newly established in California – the catch: kill the winner before sundown to legally claim their multi-billion dollar jackpot. When Katie Kim (Awkwafina) moves to Los Angeles, she mistakenly finds herself with the winning ticket. Desperate to survive the hordes of jackpot hunters, she reluctantly joins forces with amateur lottery protection agent Noel Cassidy (John Cena) who will do everything in his power to get her to sundown in exchange for a piece of her prize. However, Noel must face off with his slick rival Louis Lewis (Simu Liu), who also seeks to collect Katie’s commission at all costs. is directed by Paul Feig and written by Rob Yescombe.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power: Season 2 – 29th August

The Rings of Power brings to screens for the very first time the heroic legends of the fabled Second Age of Middle-earth’s history. This epic drama is set thousands of years before the events of J.R.R. Tolkien’s The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books, and will take viewers back to an era in which great powers were forged, kingdoms rose to glory and fell to ruin, unlikely heroes were tested, hope hung by the finest of threads, and the greatest villain that ever flowed from Tolkien’s pen threatened to cover all the world in darkness. Episodes arrive weekly.
