Westworld available to watch online in UK from October 2016

Sky has announced that Westworld will be available to watch online in the UK from Tuesday 4th October.
HBO’s dark odyssey from JJ Abrams (Star Trek Beyond, Star Wars: The Force Awakens), Jonathan Nolan (Interstellar, The Dark Knight) and Lisa Joy (Pushing Daisies, Burn Notice) is inspired by Michael Crichton’s 1970s sci-fi movie, which sees a hedonistic theme park staffed by artificially intelligent hosts go horribly, violently wrong.
The show stars Anthony Hopkins as the park’s founder and creative director, Dr Robert Ford, Ed Harris (Pollock, Apollo 13) as The Man in Black, Thandie Newton (Mission: Impossible II) as madam Maeve Millay, Evan Rachel Wood (Thirteen, Mildred Pierce) as Dolores Abernathy and James Marsden (X-Men) as Teddy Flood.
The series promises to examine man’s primal nature and the dawn of artificial consciousness. It premieres on Sunday 2nd October in the US, with Sky airing the show weekly on Tuesdays, within 48 hours of each episode’s American debut. For those without Sky, Westworld will also be available to watch online through NOW TV. Sky’s contract-free VOD service gives non-Sky customers access to Sky Atlantic, Sky 1 (Arrow and The Flash), FOX UK (The Walking Dead and American Horror Story) and other channels for £6.99 a month, with no contract and a 14-day free trial.

This series has been shrouded in secrecy and no doubt this teaser will generate a whole load more anticipation for what’s to come.
