The first teaser trailer for Game of Thrones Season 6 has landed. And it’s as exciting as 40 seconds of Game of Thrones teasing can get.
The question on everyone’s lips, of course, is what will happen with Jon Snow. HBO hasn’t shied away from that, with its recently released promo poster for the sixth run featuring him front and centre (read on for that, with a spoiler warning to those who haven’t seen Season 5 yet).
“We watch. We listen, and we remember,” says Max von Sydow’s Three-Eyed Raven, presumably to Bran, as he re-enters the story-telling frame. “The past is already written,” he adds, just to rub salt further into the wound of Snow’s final moments of Season 5, not to mention all the deaths that have stacked up over the preceding four seasons. “The ink is dry.”
But with the seeing possibilities of the Raven open and the TV show essentially caught up with the books, we have idea what’s going to happen. And as long as HBO keep it that way, we can’t wait to find out.
Game of Thrones Season 6 arrives, in case you haven’t guessed it, in April 2016. Here’s the video – keep scrolling for the poster.
