Netflix renews The Night Agent for Season 4

Netflix has renewed The Night Agent for a fourth season.
Based on the novel by Matthew Quirk, the thriller follows Peter, a low level FBI Agent who works in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rings – until the night that it does, propelling him into a fast-moving, dangerous conspiracy that ultimately leads all the way to the Oval Office.
“This enjoyably implausible spy thriller is a fun, cliffhanger-filled ride,” we wrote in our review of Season 1.
What began with a call became a calling, and Season 3 saw Peter team up with a reporter to expose the elusive Broker and stop a terrorist attack, unaware that a powerful conspiracy is plotting to bury the truth. The third season premiered on 19th February 2026 – and now, within a month of the season’s release, Netflix has rapidly ordered another chapter.
Gabriel Basso will once again reprise his role, as Peter returns for another mission.
“It’s been a wild ride filming The Night Agent in five countries across three continents … and we’re so thrilled that the adventures of Peter Sutherland will continue into Season 4,” says series creator, executive producer, and showrunner Shawn Ryan. “Our writers, our cast, and our crew stand ready to answer the call to bring our incredible fans even more twists, turns, and thrills.”
Season 3 ended with Peter ready to take a break from work, but with the tease of him potentially being paired up with a partner in the future. Fans will have to wait until next year to find out what’s next, with filming set to take place in Los Angeles.
Season 3, meanwhile, has racked up more than 9.9 million views on Netflix, with the show’s original to seasons recently in the stream’s global list of the 10 most-watched shows on the platform.
