Amazon orders Invincible Season 5

Amazon has already renewed Invincible for a fifth season.
The adult animated superhero series is based on the award-winning comic book series by Robert Kirkman, co-creator Cory Walker, and contributing creator Ryan Ottley. It follows 17-year-old Mark Grayson, as he inherits his father’s superpowers and sets out to become Earth’s greatest defender, only to discover the job is more challenging than he could have ever imagined. Everything changes as Mark is forced to face his past, and his future, while discovering how much further he’ll need to go to protect the people he loves.
The third season of Invincible is Prime Video’s most watched animation season of all time, marking the biggest returning season of all time across all Prime Video’s adult animation originals. It was also nominated for the Critics’ Choice Award for Best Animated Series in 2025 as well as consecutive Primetime Emmy Award nominations in 2024 and 2025.
The voice cast includes Steven Yeun, Sandra Oh, and J.K. Simmons, Invincible’s voice cast also includes Seth Rogen, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas and Zazie Beetz. Joining them for Season 4 will be Matthew Rhys.
Season 4 is set to debut in 2026 – and, with Amazon announcing an early renewal for the show’s fifth chapter, Invincible is really living up to its name.

Amazon renews Invincible for Season 4

Amazon has officially renewed Invincible for Season 4.
Based on the groundbreaking comic book by Robert Kirkman, Cory Walker and Ryan Ottley, the story revolves around 18-year-old Mark Grayson, who’s just like every other guy his age – except his father is (or was) the most powerful superhero on the planet. The show follows Mark as he struggles to rebuild his life as he faces a host of new threats, all while battling his greatest fear – that he might become his father without even knowing it.
The show stars Steven Yeun, alongside Sandra Oh, Zazie Beetz, Grey DeLisle, Chris Diamantopoulos, Walton Goggins, Gillian Jacobs, Jason Mantzoukas, Ross Marquand, Khary Payton, Zachary Quinto, Andrew Rannells, Kevin Michael Richardson, Seth Rogen and JK Simmons.
Invincible executive producer Robert Kirkman announced the season four renewal for the series, which is co-produced by Skybound Animation and Amazon MGM Studios, at San Diego Comic-Con. The announcememt came after the series recently received its first Emmy nomination for Outstanding Character Voice-Over Performance for Sterling K Brown. Amazon also unveiled the infamous blue suit design that will be featured in the show’s upcoming third season.
Amazon also announced at Comic-Con that animated series Hazbin Hotel will return for a third and fourth season, and that animated series Sausage Party: Foodtopia will return for a second season.
