Where can I watch Twin Peaks online in the UK legally?
It happened again. On Monday 22nd May 2017, we went back to Twin Peaks, with 18 more hours of David Lynch’s weird, wonderful mystery. The new season, which was filmed as one long movie, spanned a total of 18 hours and continued the story of the quaint north-western town, which was left stunned after the murder of homecoming queen Laura Palmer.
Directed by David Lynch, and executive produced by Sabrina S. Sutherland, Twin Peaks: The Return saw many familiar faces reprise their roles from the original show, with the 2017 cast including Dana Ashbrook as Bobby Briggs, Catherine E. Coulson as the Log Lady, Sheryl Lee as Laura Palmer, Peggy Lipton as Norma Jennings, and, of course, Kyle MacLachlan as FBI Special Agent Dale Cooper. David Lynch even appeared appear as Gordon Cole, while other returning stars ranged from David Duchovny and Warren Frost to Harry Dean Stanton and Ray Wise. New stars joining the ensemble included Laura Dern, Caleb Landry Jones, David Koechner, Jennifer Jason Leigh, Jane Levy and Matthew Lillard.
Returning to those eerie woods, whether for Twin Peaks: The Return or to celebrate Twin Peaks’ anniversary in years to come, there’s one question (aside from who killed Laura) that haunts us: where can you watch Twin Peaks online?
Shortly after Showtime ordered the revival of the programme from David Lynch and co-creator Mark Frost, the network signed a new deal with Sky, giving the pay-TV broadcaster the exclusive UK rights to the programme. That means that Twin Peaks and Twin Peaks: The Return are both available in full as box sets through Sky.
Don’t have Sky? The pay-TV giant has long embraced streaming in the UK, with the launch of its contract-free VOD platform NOW. A NOW Entertainment Membership for the service costs £8.99 a month, giving non-Sky customers access to Twin Peaks, as well as other Sky channels and shows, including Sky One, Sky Comedy, Sky Crime, Sky Atlantic and FOX UK. That means for £8.99 a month, you can stream not only Twin Peaks: The Return but also the original two seasons of the show on-demand without a contract. (A NOW Entertainment Membership auto-renews at £8.99 a month until 1st September 2020, £9.99 thereafter unless cancelled.)
