Orlando Bloom, Bryce Dallas Howard and Nick Mohammed are all going under Deep Cover for Amazon Prime Video’s new comedy thriller.

The film stars Bryce Dallas Howard as Kat, an improv comedy teacher beginning to question if she’s missed her shot at success. When an undercover cop (Sean Bean) offers her the role of a lifetime, she recruits two of her students (Orlando Bloom and Nick Mohammed) to infiltrate London’s gangland by impersonating dangerous criminals.

Directed by Ghosts and Pls Like helmer Tom Kingsley, the film’s starry cast is likely to attract attention – with the ensemble also including Paddy Considine, Ian McShane and Sean Bean – but it’s the talent behind the camera that marks this out as one to watch. As well as Kingsley’s direction, the script is co-written by Derek Connolly and Colin Trevorrow (Safety Not Guaranteed), plus Ben Ashenden and Alexander Owen, better known as the hilarious sketch comedy duo The Pin – who have been quietly stealing scenes in bit parts for several years, including in Trevorrow’s Jurassic World: Dominion.
