Paramount+ serves up summer action with the return of Twisted Metal this August, but its film-wise that it serves up the real thrills, with both 5 September and The Hunger Games upping the tension.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Paramount+ UK in August 2025:

The Hunger Games – 1st August

Every year in the ruins of what was once North America, the Capitol of the nation of Panem forces each of its 12 districts to send a teenage boy and girl to compete to the death in the Hunger Games. 16-year-old Katniss Everdeen volunteers in her younger sister’s place and must rely upon her sharp instincts when she is pitted against highly trained tributes who have prepared their entire lives for this competition. If she is ever to return home to District 12, Katniss must make impossible choices in the arena that weigh survival against humanity and life against love. The first four films all arrive together.

Twisted Metal: Season 2 – 1st August

John and Quiet find themselves entering the deadly Twisted Metal tournament, a sinister demolition derby hosted by a mysterious man known as Calypso. As they try to survive an onslaught of dangerous new foes and familiar faces alike, including the murderous clown Sweet Tooth, things get complicated for John when he reunites with his long-lost sister, the vigilante Dollface. Episodes 1 to 3 arrive together, followed by episodes weekly.

5 September – 7th August

During the 1972 Munich Olympics, a hostage crisis pushes legendary TV executive Roone Arledge to thrust an untested sports producer, Geoff Mason, into the spotlight of breaking news coverage. With lives hanging in the balance and the world watching, this pivotal moment, based on a true story, reshaped journalism forever.

Paw Patrol: Jungle Pups – 13th August

In Jungle Pups, Tracker and Carlos discover a cave that leads to a lush jungle oasis unlike anything they have ever seen before.

Heart Eyes – 14th August

When the “Heart Eyes Killer” strikes, a pair of co-workers pulling overtime on Valentine’s Day are mistaken for a couple by the elusive couple-hunting killer. Now they must spend the most romantic night of the year running for their lives.

Rebirth: Home Sweet Home – 15th August

The story follows Jake, a cop thrust into an alternate realm called “The Hindrance” during a deadly mall shooting. With the help of a mysterious Novice Monk, Jake must race the clock to save his wife, PRANG, and stop an evil occultist, MEK, from opening the Gates of Hell.

Teem Mom UK: Season 12 – 20th August

Chloe is navigating being a mum of two with newborn Rudy, Sassi is on a mission to move forward with dating, Mia is battling with Marliya and her tweenager ways and Amber might have found true love. The four episodes arrive weekly.

Dating Naked UK: Season 2 – 29th August

The UK’s most drawer – dropping dating show is back! Guided by host Rylan, ten new singles are ready to shed their inhibitions and their clothes, in their search for true love. Episodes 1 and 2 arrive together, followed by two episodes weekly.
