The Boys are back in town on Amazon this month, as the superhero satire returns for its final chapter. It’s joined by Crime 101, the US version of Gladiators and a new sports comedy starring Mark Wahlberg.

Here’s what’s coming soon to Amazon Prime Video UK in April 2026:

Crime 101 – 1st April

Set against the sun-bleached grit of Los Angeles, Crime 101 weaves the tale of an elusive jewel thief (Chris Hemsworth) whose string of heists along the 101 freeway have mystified police. When he eyes the score of a lifetime, his path crosses that of a disillusioned insurance broker (Halle Berry) who is facing her own crossroads. Convinced he has found a pattern, a relentless detective (Mark Ruffalo) is closing in, raising the stakes even higher. As the heist approaches, the line between hunter and hunted begins to blur, and all three are faced with life-defining choices–and the realization that there can be no turning back.

Nippon Sangoku: The Three Nations of the Crimson Sun – 5th April

This 12-episode anime series is set in a divided near-future Japan.The story depicts the near future of Japan, where revolution arose from nuclear war, natural disasters, and corrupt governance, where civilization has collapsed. The nation has split into three, entering an era of warring states vying for supremacy. Aoteru Misumi, once a humble local government official, aims for the “reunification of Japan,” rising through the ranks with his vast knowledge and exceptional eloquence. The legend of the man who would later be called a genius military strategist begins. Episodes arrive weekly.

The Boys: Season 5 – 8th April

In the fifth and final season, it’s Homelander’s world, completely subject to his erratic, egomaniacal whims. Hughie, Mother’s Milk, and Frenchie are imprisoned in a “Freedom Camp.” Annie struggles to mount a resistance against the overwhelming Supe force. Kimiko is nowhere to be found. But when Butcher reappears, ready and willing to use a virus that will wipe all Supes off the map, he sets in motion a chain of events that will forever change the world and everyone in it. It’s the climax, people. Big stuff’s gonna happen. Episodes 1 and 2 of 8 arrive together, followed by episodes weekly until the finale on 20th May.

Balls Up – 15th April

In this raunchy, over-the-top comedy, marketing executives Brad (Mark Wahlberg) and Elijah (Paul Walter Hauser) go “balls out” and pitch a bold full‑coverage condom sponsorship with the World Cup. After their drunken celebration in Brazil sparks a global scandal, they must outrun furious fans, criminals, and power-hungry officials to salvage their careers and make it home alive.

American Gladiators – 17th April

The iconic competition returns with each episode featuring weekend warriors from across the nation stepping into the Arena to face 16 powerful new Gladiators. From classic events like Joust, Powerball, Hang Tough, and The Wall, to high-impact new challenges including The Ring and Collision, every showdown demands pure grit, strategy, and heart. Only one man and one woman will conquer the Arena, claim $100,000, and earn the title of American Gladiator Champion. Episodes 1 to 3 arrive together, followed by three episodes and four episodes in two weekly batches.

The House of the Spirits – 29th April

The House of the Spirits is a magnificent family saga that tells the epic tale of a proud and passionate family, secret loves, and bloody revolution. The Trueba family’s passions, struggles, and secrets span a century of violent social change, culminating in a crisis that hurls the proud, tyrannical patriarch and his beloved granddaughter towards opposite sides of the fence. All episodes arrive together.
