Trailer: Netflix’s Coach Snoop kicks off this February

Snoop Dogg is kicking off a new series on Netflix this February, as he leaves the music studio in favour of the football pitch.
The rapping icon founded the Snoop Youth Football League back in 2005, an orgnisation designed to help keep kids off the streets and on the straight and narrow by working with them to play football. It grew to become the largest youth football group in Southern California, before expanding further afield.
Now, a new series is shining a light on “Coach Snoop”. The eight-episode season offers an intimate look at Snoop and his young players as they chase a championship and deal with adversity off the field. As head coach of the Steelers, a team of 13-year old boys, his team will be traveling the nation, playing other teams in hopes of winning the youth football National Championship. Last year, they lost the title in the closing seconds of the game.
