Wormwood: Errol Morris’ Netflix series gets a trailer

Documentary legend Errol Morris is heading to Netflix this Christmas for a brand new series, Wormwood.
The show aims to uncover the truth behind the CIA, LSD, mind control, and the death of a family man. Directed by Morris, it explores the limits of knowledge about the past and the lengths we’ll go in our search for the truth. A twisting, evolving story of one man’s 60-year quest to identify the circumstances of his father’s mysterious death, it combines a performance by Peter Sarsgaard with Morris’ signature interview style, examining the case from all angles and bringing viewers face-to-face with some of the United States’ darkest secrets.
Wormwood launches on Friday 15th December on Netflix. Here’s the full trailer:

Boundary-breaking filmmaker Errol Morris and Netflix are teaming up for Wormwood, a new series.
The six-part show explores the limits of knowledge about the past and the lengths we’ll go in our search for the truth. A twisting, evolving story of one man’s 60-year quest to identify the circumstances of his father’s mysterious death. Wormwood examines the case from every possible angle, bringing the viewer face-to-face with some of the United States’ darkest secrets.
The show mixes Morris’ legendary interview style, as seen in documentaries such as Tabloid, with a central performance by Peter Sarsgaard – and a trailer for the series gives us a chance to see that striking combination in action. The untold true story of the CIA? LSD experiments? Mind control? Count us in.
