Netflix unleashes Fire Chasers documentary trailer

Last year, there were 6,986 fires across California. The blazes covered 564,835 acres.
From news headlines alone, it’s clear that California’s wildfires have hit epidemic proportions. Now, Netflix is following the people behind fighting those flames head on, with a new documentary series.
The programme, called Fire Chasers, follows the courageous men and women putting their lives on the line to battle wildfires daily. The show will explore not only their efforts to combat the fires, but also what is behind the rise in the the number of natural disasters, from vegetation patterns and drought to climate change. The series is produced by Original Productions, the makers of Deadliest Catch, the Discovery Channel’s series about Alaskan fishers.
Fire Chasers will premiere on Netflix on 8th September. Here’s a trailer:
