Get your Game of Thrones fix with these new Season 7 photos

As April comes and goes, it’s hard not to notice the Game of Thrones-shaped hole in our lives, as we wait until the summer for the later-than-usual seventh season of HBO’s fantasy epic. The good news? You can still get your Thrones fix, thanks to a bunch of new pictures released last night by HBO.
The photos are a neat reminder of where all our main players stand after the dramatic, fiery finale to Season 6, with Cersei (Lena Headey) now sitting on the Iron Throne, with Jaime (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) by her side, while Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) prepares to set sail for Westeros with her loyal sidekicks – Tyrion (Peter Dinklage), Missandei (Nathalie Emmanuel), Varys (Conleth Hill) and Grey Worm (Jacob Anderson. There’s a glimpse of Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) too, fresh from becoming Lord of Winterfell, and even a look at young Lyanna Mormont (Bella Ramsey).
Game of Thrones Season 7, in case you’ve forgotten, premieres in the UK on Sky Atlantic on Monday 17th July at 9pm – and, for those keen to avoid spoilers, will be simulcast at 2am on Sunday 16th July, which means Episode 1 will be available to stream on-demand in the UK immediately following the US broadcast. Non-Sky customers can do the same with NOW. For more on that, and to watch the trailer, head this way – or read on for the new images.
